that truck would look real nice with a set of ZQ8 rims, imo.

Well if you thought it was bright before...

(that's before)

It's even brighter now...

Same camera settings. Simple bulb swap to the Philips 85122+, brightest DOT approved D2S bulb available. Puts out 3400 lumens versus the industry standard 3200.

Lol, none. The beam is aimed according to DOT spec.

I have gotten to flash others though, that's kinda fun.

Thread update for MOAR PIX

Took the truck somewhere today with a friend and thought it was a good photo op. Truck isn't exactly clean but it's not horribly dirty either I guess.

Not exactly, they're old school SS badges and they've been there for a long time, lol.

Dan, the ONLY thing that bugs me a little about your truck, are your antennae on the front. Would be much better IMO if they were on the front of the bed, but that's just me. New rims would be nice too.

I love everything about the truck minus those symbols now...they aren't relevant to the truck/belong there. Sorry, just saying.

To each their own, no offense taken.

Seems like most agree that the truck needs new wheels though lol...I'd tend to agree, but that'll have to wait until the Michelins that are on there don't have so much tread left!

Wait on the rims. The truck is fine with the ones on there right now. Besides, it's more money into the maintenance and modding pot.

im not saying that the rims need cant stay on the truck..im just saying if you come across something better than those that you like for the right price it would be def worth throwing them on the truck

ya know what would look pretty sweet IMO is shave the stock antenna and run one whip on each front fender
that MIGHT look better

what ive been looking at is shaving my antenna, and running two black 5 foot whips one for the cb and one for the headunit

however on your truck you could get away with the 3 foot whips!

whippers just wouldn't work for his truck. Your truck.... maybe.

I still have my mind set at those ZQ8's for rims :P or maybe some iroc's????

I'd love some ZQ8's. The only wheels I'd have other than the ones that are on there now are ZQ8's or Cragar SS wheels. IROCs wouldn't look bad either, now that I think about it.

Personally I don't think the IROC rims suit the second gen S10 like they do on the first gen, but what about the factory S10 SS rims, they are the same size as the IROC rims but they suit the truck better IMO.

^ I do like those also. Not sure what size they are but they look like 15s which is the current size, so that would make tire swapping easy.

Another randomly captured picture while doing some exploring. It's spring here and things are blooming, so my truck is covered in tree semen.

So glad I'm up north away from that yellow junk.

Any updates on the rims yet?
