Dead people in concert...there's a new marketing tool :bs: Seriously I don't know how these urban myths get started.
Sorry to get slightly off topic here but I loved Bobby McFerrin's creative style BEFORE he became "popular". Here's something about that "urban myth".

So...what can I do to make it better? Other than the obvious and probably much needed set of plugs and wires. How much would a new cold air intake help?

i was getting the best i ever got on the way home from the MI Meet. i was getting 27-28 doing 72MPH but i was dying to do it cuz the windows were up and the air was off. just had the sun roof vent open.

i tried both windows down and air on. either way it dropped to 20-22. so i got a little warm on the way home

A lot of it is just the way you drive. If you have bad driving habits then your MPG is gonna be lower than it should.

I'm a child of the first gas crunch. I think that's why I'm getting the numbers that I do. Still I'd like to wring every MPG out of her that I can, but not spend a ton of money doing it. Thee's not much of a return on your investment when you spend $300 to get another 1 MPG, unless you're Al Gore.
