i finally cleared my corners and got it in my head i needed to paint my rims black. didn't know what to use so i tried engine paint.

you could have sold those wheels and bought some nice black ones... im sure you coulda found someone on here to take them off your hands....

looks pretty good and will probably hold up pretty well. if it doesn't Dupli-color makes a nice "high performance wheel coating that holds up real well. like $6 a can...

it was duplicolor, but they didnt have the wheel paint so i went with engine paint for high heat. figured that should hold up well.

I suggest some tire shine and take some new pictures, it's tough to really appreciate the wheels when the pictures are blurry.

oh yea these pictures are crap and the car needs complete cleaning. i hope to get some better pictures and show off the unblurred, and clean look. then maybe i can decide if i did the right thing. Ha Ha

Color matched spoke wheels were never my fave. I think something along the lines of the old 88-91 solid rims painted the same as the car or the aftermarket equvalent would look better. You reallly did a good job on it though. :thumbup:
