rear struts on 01 PAU

Post by harofreak00 »

Since it was nice out today, I towed the car to the shop where the engine replacement is going down. Since the battery is charged now, and its offer the trailer, I was able to turn the ignition on, and pump up the rear end. I was surprised to see only the passenger side pump up to normal height. The driver side is almost completely bottomed out. Leaky strut? Are they the same as the 00+ Bonneville? I have several struts on hand I could swap out.

Does it air each strut independently? I would have figured if the drivers side leaked so bad, it would just sit there and air up forever. Also, isn't the car supposed to set level at rest with no extra weight?
