MSD coils?
MSD coils?
Looking for some feedback on MSD coils. Any performance or MPG gains like MSD states on their description? I have a 2005 SLE.

All I've heard from users is that the mid-range power does get a slight gain like they claim, and you may get slightly better mileage...but don't go expecting a whole new car. Also your spark plugs and wires add into the factor of all this.

Re: MSD coils?
If your coils are not bad, leave them. The gain you'll get from MSD's is so miniscule you'll ask yourself why you paid $110 for them. Get new plugs and wires and be done with it.

i ran auto lite platinum's on my L27 with bosch premium wires and the stock coils and that worked extremely well...im with ed..do the plugs and wires first..dont replace the coils unless you absolutely have to...you can spend that 110 on something alot better for the car
