There isn't any kind of warranty left on a 7 y/o car that's from GM. I have a feeling they ordered the entire cat-back. I would call the dealer, tell them to cancel the part, then get a magnaflow high-flow, and have it welded in.

It is legally still under warranty. A catalytic converter is warrantied for 8 years or 80,000 miles. His car is still covered according to his sig...2002 and 32-36? thousand miles.

Well, my (Cat) finally got here today after 10 days in-transit from Detroit. Just took a little under an hour to take off the old one and put the new one on. btw, the cat was under warranty since it is part of the Federal Omissions standards. Thought i would take a few pics and as you can see it is the whole emissions assembly.
