I've been looking for a service manual for my 2000 SLE, and I've seen some of both on Ebay. There are 2 volume sets of the Early Service Manual, and also some that just say Service Manual and are either one or two books.
Whats the difference between the two? Is one better than the other or does it have more information in it?
Thanks.
Service Manual or Early Service Manual, difference?

The early service manual is just that...one that was printed early. The later edition may have updated information, but it's likely to be minimal. Either one should be OK. The complete set includes 2 manuals.

I have the Early Service manual for a 2000, and I have an 03. The little bit of updated info can be found here anyways, it has lots of good diagrams for dissassembly and lots of torque specs.
