Buick prblems

Post by Leejr57 »

As posted earlier, the Buick had a knock sensor code. The engine has a VERY loud "clunk" at idle. I'm thinking it may be the torque convertor clutch engaging and disengaging. I've replaced the knock sensor, cleared the codes, but as soon as I restart the car the ECM set a PO325 knock sensor circuit code. Have I missed something? :helpsmilie:

If you are hearing a clunk, then the knock sensor is too. You need to find out what is causeing the clunk first. Is that the only code displayed? What location in the engine compartment is the noise located? By the trransmission, front pulley side, fron radiator side or under the bottom?
