I took them off quickly and replaced them with a set of newer S10 rims with some 31x10.50x15 tires. Better, but still needed bigger tires.

About a month ago, I picked up a set of used, crappy, peeling powdercoated set of steel rims. This is their story.
Started out like this. Powdercoated green and were peeling and rusting..

After some work with a wire wheel

I am not too terribly worried about the marks left on the rims from the wire wheel. The Blazer isn't anywhere near perfect so I am not going to spend hours on each rim making them perfect.
Back to the show
Wiped them down with some acetone to get rid of any oils etc. left on the rims and painted them with some rim paint. These were cleared using the same brand of clear also.

Painted and cleared

I removed the 33x12.50x15 tires off the crap firebird rims, cleaned them up and put them on these rims.

They will be balanced sometime next week and put on then also. I can't wait to see how it looks!!!
