foglamps

Post by SLEighride03 »

Is there any way to adjust the direction of my foglamps. I'm not sure, but to my naked eye, they do not look like their focused correctly.

They can be adjusted up and down with an adjustment knob in the back. You can see it from the back side of the bumper. However, the adjustment is often rusted up.

oh, that's the only way they can be adjusted, up and down, not left and right?

im not sure the mounting on yours, but mine had two studs on the bracket, if you put some washers behind the bracket and the mount it would angle it left to right

speaking of which, I changed out my crappy SS's for a set of HID bulbs I found on eBay:

I put them on tonight, they look a little brighter than the SS's, however I'm monitoring to see how long they'll last. If these go out, then I'll have a new foglamp assembly put in in replace of the stock one.
