This was a very informative and helpful teardown of the
cluster by Harofreak00. He also directly addressed the issue you are currently requesting be addressed.
Edit: Maybe it would help if I actually put the link in:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=10210&hilit=cluster
Do not post in that thread, as it angers the natives when old threads are dug up.
Edit of the Edit: Now that I look at it, he only shows you what is inside, simply put, you will need to remove the
cluster, disassemble the
cluster, and solder in new bulbs in to the
cluster, or you can enlist the services of a club member willing to do it for you.

Just pull them off with your hand. 50/50 chance of pullling out the needle shalfs from the circuit board, thus ruining it. I have taken apart 2 of them, ruined one, didn't the other.

I'd get one from Andrew, then try and mess around with yours. If you break it, then the car isn't down for a day(s) while you wait for parts. Then, if you do fix it, you can sell the cluster. I'm sure someone on e-bay would want it. Just my thoughts on the matter.

$12 for shipping. PP is harofreak00 at hotmail dot com
Mileages are 111k and 146k, but if you replace with the mileage circuit board on the back of your cluster, it will display your mileage.
