Recent Pics of my Bonny!!! :D

Post by yonkerse »

Figured I would post some recent pictures of my car since I haven't for awhile. Hard to believe I have owned the car for over a year now and put over 20,000 miles on her..which she will be passing the 100,000 mile mark in the next month or so. Have truly loved the car and it turns heads everywhere it goes. Have a few mods planned for the summer, just hoping to find time before school starts! My most recent mod came on Friday when I swung by ZZP Performance and had them install a 2.5'' DP and HI-Flow Cat! :D

Feel free to leave your comments!

Dual Scan Gauges and Complete GXP carbon fiber trim, have the door handles to install...Just waiting for the time...

Lighted front License plate cover..the letters look a little distorted due to blemishes in the flash

Thanks for the comments guys!

Sure have enjoyed being apart of the club and sporting the last year of the Bonneville!

Will soon be tackeling the ISS which has developed the slight knock when steering at low speeds. Looks like a relatively stright forward repair according to tech info! :D

I really like what you've done. Great style. I'd be interested in tutorials on some of your mods. Looks like you have LEDS on your headlights, custom gauges, and LED Pontiac looks cool

Very nice! Shame they stopped production when they did - it still looks very sharp and modern.

Alright cool. Just one quick question - the carbon fiber around the custom gauge. Is that like a decal?

01Bonnie88,
Those are the GXP carbon fiber vents. I was lucky enough to find a complete set which I purchased. I was actually looking to try the Carbon Fiber overlays, but it would be very difficult to keep the material tight and lay around all the curves...and cutting correctly to cover everything. Also about the time, I ran across set of vents.

Feel free to ask more questions, doesn't bother me a bit!!

Im anxious for out meet too Lucas. We need to try picking a weekend sometime soon. I will need to arrange accordingly with school and weekend work..

I LOVE the DP and High-Flow cat. The car's low speed acceleration and low power torque is incredible. Really gives the car a new attitude. It also gives the car a nice little rumble. I would recommend it! I think it may have helped my "road" MPG little as well, not so much city because I like to hear it when taking off! :P

I stopped by an exhaust shop this morning and got a quote for installing my mufflers and tips...should be going in next week to have this done...so anxious to see how she reacts then!

Will and Lucas - will need to get together in chat sometime and try locking down a weekend so then we can publish it and try getting others to attend!!

Eric,
Does your car come from the factory with a resonator ? And if it did do you still have it on the car ?
If it has a resonator I would leave it on so you will know how the "mufflers" changed your exhaust note.

You have to find the GXP stuff used. I've managed to snag all of it but the vent that blows into the backseat from the console...
