That's right, I polished the GXP. Used the PC and a whole lot of elbow grease, 12 hours of it. Gave it 2 coats of Meg's #21 to hopefully protect from the salt and slush a little. Also washed the door jambs with and cleaned the interior a little.

The Mezerna and PC did take the edge off most of the scratches, but there are still some spots where the pup went straight through to the metal of the hood, so unfortunately a re-paint is the only true solution.

Also, I know it's in the yard, but the roads are wet and anywhere I'd have gone would have gotten it nasty, so I didn't have much of a choice...

How'd I do?
Bye Bye:

Hard to tell that you did anymore than a wash without some closeups with a halogen light ;)

Regardless, still has plenty of shine.

Was the bumper or hood resprayed at one time? There is a stark difference between the hood and bumper.

Don't even think of coming near my car with a halogen light...you'll most likely yell out, fall backwards, and the light will shatter, ignite some oily rags and...

I did note the color difference but I figured it was because of the different angles?

I think it's the angles Cody. The hood comes at a different angle and the front of the hood looks dark.
