More pics of the 3 Bonnie's that I've owned....

Post by Ludichris »

I posted a few cell phone pics of my current "new" Bonnie, along with just a couple of my 94 SSEi that I used to have. Here are some more (and better...of the 97 SE) pics of the 94 SSEi and the 97 SE, as well as the only two lone photos that I could dig up of my 93 SE (my very first Bonnie, bought in 2000 I think). Here they are...

97 SE Tail

...and the tail of the 94 SSEi

Passengers rear quarter was repainted. I wonder what happened there, the title came up clean??? I don't care....the power antenna works!

...and a similar view of the 97 SE

...I added a steering wheel cover, after wrecking many a steering wheel in my day (you should see the steering wheel on my 98 Jeep - totally ruined!) with drumsticks. I'm a musician, and drums are but one of the instruments I play:

Front of the 94 SSEi....it definitely did NOT look like this after I crashed it

94 SSEi Engine bay

and the 94 SSEi's 3800 Series II engine bay. I just had the oil changed. The oil change guys must have spilled some oil....'cause it didn't look that way when I pulled it in
Image
97 SE's Gold Lace rims. Not sure how I feel about them. I think I prefer the Pontiac 5 spoke rims better

Full angle shot of the 97

After market Alpine CDA-9833 installed ASAP. I also just installed my Infinity 6913i's in the rear deck. They sound a lot better!
Image
Odometer reading on the 97 SE. I am still amazed at how smooth this car rides. Incredible!

Another view of the 97's interior

97 SE's front end

97 SE's instrument cluster at night

And finally...the only two photos that I could dig up of my 93 SE. The photos tell the story. I was making a left turn, and to this day (about 11 years after the accident), I still say that guy must have been speeding A LOT. He came out of nowhere. This 93 was my first Bonnie.

Very nice... however... that's not a 94 SSEi.... Fairly certain that it's a 92, the woodgrain dash, 2 tone interior, parking brake, supercharger, and EGR valve give it away. It COULD be a 93, but I think 93 went to the later parking brake pedal without the brake release handle.

Hm...interesting...it has been a number of years since I owned it, but the way I've been remembering it is that my first green one WAS a 93, and the white SSEi was a year newer, so I've always remembered it as a 94. What about the front grill picture?

These wheels give it away as a 92-93. They changed to silver painted torquestar 5 spokers in 94.

No way! I mean...I guess I've been remembering it wrong all along. Wow. I'm kind of sad about that. I thought I owned a '93 SE, 94 SSEi, and my '97, but I guess I owned two 93's then.

It's a 92, given the woodgrain and steering wheel airbag cover. In 93, the woodgrain was replaced by the textured grey in console shift cars, and the PONTIAC on the steering wheel was replaced by a Pontiac dart.

Wow. Well...either I'm remembering it completely wrong, or the dealer had it falsely advertised, or something....as I said, I crashed that one back in '04, so it's been awhile, but wow....that makes me want to go ring the dealers neck or something, even though that car is probably parted out and a skeleton by now (or it's already been turned into shaving cream cans and chair legs by now).
