The Bonneville and the other car...

Post by ChilinMichael »

Figured it was time to "let the cat out of the bag", cleaned up my car yesterday and polished it with Meguiar's Gold Class Plus Carnuba Paste (worked amazing)...the roof isn't in the best shape thanks to GM's wonderful clearcoat technique, nevertheless, it came out good. The 63' Grand Prix needs almost no work and everything is in very good shape. It's got the 389 /w 4 barrel carb. 200R4 Transmission.

The story behind the Grand Prix, before anyone asks, I've been it's caregiver for my aunt for a while, did work on it here and there, it's going back on the road for me to drive at times, it's also willed to me, and they are repainting it very soon midnight blue as per my suggestion. I'll be mostly running it to keep it good during the winter, in spring it'll go back out on a semi-regular basis. (It's got under 70,000 original miles)

Onto the pics of the two...

NICE Grand Prix... even has the 8 lug setup which has a huge cool factor, IMO.

(Oh, yours looks nice as well! I didn't forget it!)
