The car is going in for paint very soon, I'm paying a lot of money to get it looking amazing... These pics are before the paint, that way you guys have something to compare to when I get it back.

Wash was Zaino. Wax was done 6 months ago with Zaino as well.

Window tint is 5% rear and front sail window, and 15% front roll down windows.

Well.. pictures say a thousand words... So...

You can see that front lip mod I did...

After the paint, exhaust from the headers back will be upgraded\replaced.

I mean... really... that little piece of rubber makes a big difference.

Nothing really, but I'm having the whole body redone. Every little dent\ding will be filled and sanded, and it will be painted and clearcoated. I can't wait.

Digging the lip, but I would do it to the rear bumper, too, just to tie everything together.

I'm repainting my Bonne too. But if you want it done right, it needs to be fully stripped. Bumpers, fenders, all trim and rubber need to come off at the very least. If you aren't inclined to do all of that, just take off the rubber (door seals, trunk rubber, hood rubber), all the lighting, the wheel well splash guards, the antenna base, and that lip you just installed. Oh, and the door sill plastics too. Trust me...the less stuff overspray gets onto, the better.

And...if you take it the shop stripped like I just told you, it shows that you care about that car and the work that has to be done to it, and it makes it easier on the painters/preppers for them to do the job correctly.

That paint looks pretty amazing to me. You sure you can't find something else to spend the money on?

I agree. It's your money and you can do with it as you wish, but you're gonna be super pissed with the first rock chip and door ding you get, as this is your DD after all, correct? I'd spend that money and maybe get some different wheels/tires, and make sure the car will be rock-solid reliable in the years to come. JMHO.

Looks very nice, have you polished it at all, or just wax? A good detail / polish job can do wonders as well
