How to Post Pictures - Step by Step Guidlines

First go to http://photobucket.com and create an account, it's easy.

1. When your account is confirmed, type your name and password and log in.

2. To get started, click the "Choose Files" button

3. Find the picture(s) you would like to upload from your hard drive. Use shift-click to upload multiple files at a time. Then click the Open button below.

Image

4. Photobucket will show you the process of your upload.

5. Once the photo is uploaded you will find it below in your album. Click the link called "IMG Code" just once and it will automatically copy to your clipboard. Sometimes it does not copy. If it doesn't say "COPIED" make sure the whole tag is highlighted, and push ctrl+C or right click-copy.

Image

6. Now that the link is copied, go back to your PontiacBonnevilleClub post screen, right-click and go to Paste.

7. The IMG link now shows correctly in your window. Before posting, it is always a good idea to PREVIEW your post, to make sure everything works.

8. Shown below is the coding and actual image used in the explanation.

Photobucket is always changing their site, and recently they made some pretty drastic changes, making this original tutorial pretty outdated. While I'm not going to update this everytime they change the site, I will do this one to make it a little easier.

The upload files button is now at the top. To get the IMG tags, you need to hover over the thumb and click the IMG tag once to copy to the clipboard.
