How many people have actually used the Air inflator in the trunk of their Bonneville? I just used it to inflate an exercise ball for my grandmother's PT, and this question came to my mind. After being told I'll never use it, I did. Just one of those things that makes you go huh... I wonder.

Actually did use it once on my 95 SSEi to fill up one of the front tires... the hose was just long enough.

Used it fairly regularly on the 95 SSEi for mine and friends' tires. It comes in great handy at the drag strip when you've played with your tire pressure.

Yet to use it on the GXP.

I use it occasionally. It's really good for inflating basketballs, etc. since we don't have a decent needle and adapter for our big air compressor. Never used it on my tires.

I use it when I'm in a "pickle" and have no recourse. First time I used it the car was only a couple of months old. Picked up a nail in one of the front tires. Filled it up with air and drove straight to Discount Tire. lol! -BC

At the track a TON, to inflate basketballs and footballs, and even used it for a time for my water injection rather than a pump. 70psi of air moves water and methanol out of a tank very well.

I use it once a year at the track to air up the front and rear tires.
I have a garage compressor for all other needs.

I don't have that particular option on my Bonneville, but I have a portable pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Best present my ex-wife ever gave me. It even came with a tubeless tire repair kit. The first time I used it fix a flat tire on my car, she yelled at me for wasting time playing with my toys instead of just taking the tire to the shop to get it fixed. Never mind the fact that by my estimate I actually saved time AND money by doing it myself instead of taking the wheel off the car, putting it in the back of her car (which she had at work at the time), taking it to the shop, waiting to get it fixed, paying the man to do something I could just as easily do myself, and then bringing it home and putting it back on my car.

I left her about three weeks later.

@Human: Isn't that how it always goes? My fiancee says the same thing all the time until I show her how much we saved compare to the shop, and now I don't get any lip when I buy tools.

@Ed, when I have a chance I will see if I really do have one. I have a current motor mount issue, and way to much windshield time everyday. We bought our current Bonneville from my fiancee's uncle who use to work at Miller, and he said it had one. He even gave me a kit, but I can't remember where i put it. Got go search my barn full of crap that I have managed to collect. I got a kit with my 95 Bonneville I had, and I could not figure out why it had one either.
