Every time it rains, my rear driver-side floor of my '01 bonneville SLE gets soaking wet and holds water. There is no leak from headliner, no leak from sunroof (i have fixed this already and tested many times) Can anyone tell me what possible causes of this could be and how to fix it? It's getting so bad that I have considered selling the car.. and i JUST got it. So please help. Thanks!

Could also be door weatherstripping or watershields. Here's a great post about it: http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/fo ... 43&t=11470

I agree that it's likely the door weatherstripping when its a driver side flooding issue. If it were a passenger side issue then this is where also the sunroof drain line disconnection problem possibly comes into play. I've had to fix both.

The moon roof drains are on all 4 corners. They get disconnected from the moon roof itself and then down at the floor. The ones at the floor are behind the rubber liner.

Checking the door seals are pretty simple. Spray the car down with a garden hose and concentrate on the seal area. When you open the door, check for any water on the back side of the seal.

As for the moon roof drains, hose the crap out of the moon roof and watch for water to come out from the front fenders right behind the front wheels.

i have had these problems a few times now. first i found out my sunroof tubes were leaking. fixed those and dried everything out. i thought i was out of the woods until i was wet again. i found out it was all 4 watershields inside the doors. i cleaned off the old and reapplied new butyl, dried everything. again i thought i was out of the woods until a few months later i was wet again. found out it was leaking from the same place and the butyl pulled away from the door again. this time i used new butyl and some custom strips of thin sheatmetal to screw into the door over the butyl joint. the end result should be a permanent repair as the sheetmetal should keep the butyl from pulling away.
