2000 SSEI Electronic Level Control

Shocks are staying pumped up, will not vent making for a rough ride. If compressor is not venting is there any way to fix that or do you have to replace compressor. l Checked level switch, push it all way up and compressor kicks on , push all way down and compressor kicks off but cannot hear compressor vent. Any one have any suggestions
