ok so me and my wife spilled the beans and told each other what we are getting the other for our anniversary (which isn't until april 19th) i am getting kappa 6x9's!!!!

so i need to find instructions on how to change the rears, i'm sure there is something in search but for the life of me i can't seem to find it.

wait,you have to take the speaker grills off from inside the car and there are 4 screws that hold them on,you will need a screwdriver that turns with the handle or if you have really short screwdriver that would work,but if you want stress free install i would use the angle screwdriver with the turning handle.the wire harness just clips off but you will probly have to land new terminals on the new speakers.which requires cutting the old harness,positive negative is all you need.

naww Gp's have the same connector i just put connectors and put them on the new speaker i have a ton from the junkyard to install speakers with

ok just checked the car out there are no clips on the speakers it just looks like 4 screws holding from the top

Lower the rear compartment trim. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear in Body Rear End.
Disconnect the speaker electrical connectors.

Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
Remove the fasteners.
Remove the rear speakers.

ok audio-dudes i'm trying to decide, should i leave the kappa's hooked up through the bose signal which means they will be acting as subs or should a run RCA's to my amp and run 'em full range? keep in mind these are nice kappa coax speakers and i currently don't have subs in the car

they are last years kappas off of ebay they have a couple small dents in the surround but i don't think it will affect anything

well i just got done installing them, they aren't wired up to anything but the bose so they aren't very loud. but i plan on doing my amp wire-up next week sometime so hope to report back soon

well i've gotten the kappa's hooked up to my amp they sound phenomenal!!! they were so loud and clear when i turned them on i couldn't tell if the other speakers were on or not! i love them, now i just need to get my sub setup going and i will be good to go
