| So it's either your starter relay, ignition switch or security system not allowing the starter relay to work. If its the security system, the security light will be flashing on the dash when you try to start it. Usually the security thing is the contacts on the key chip being worn down and/or dirty. |

| My experience - the ignition switch wires broke right at the ignition cylinder because of normal wear and then you looked at them. Pull the connector for the ignition switch, and with the key in the ignition see if you have the same resistance across the connector as the key has. |

I would look into the ignition switch. Iirc, there is an ignition fuse under hood or back seat - check that first.
so, is the security light flashing when you try to start? |

I replaced the ignition switch on my son's 2000SLE Bonneville.
I bought it off of Amazon for $44.00.
On the Bonneville it was a pretty easy job.
Not sure how it is on a 2002 Regal. |
