ABS code 'C1245-Acceleration Sensor Output'-sensor location?
When I start driving my car at low speeds (under 15-20 mph), my 'Low Trac' light comes on and stays on until I hit about 20 mph at which point the traction control automatically shuts off and my ABS light comes on. When I stay at low speeds initially after startup and hit the brake pedal it feels as ...

Re: oil leaking down off of oil filter....valve cover gasket
Ok i looked around in there. I bought a new sensor and started to remove the filter. I looked up in there and its definately not leaking from the oil pressure sensor/switch. That was about the only place that didn't have oil around it. The fluid is brown, definately oil, also sometimes i get smoke ...

oil leaking down off of oil filter....valve cover gasket?
Every time I drive my car it drips oil down off of the filter when I park it. Could a bad valve cover gasket cause that much lost oil? I put in at least 2 quarts now between oil changes and it is getting progressively worse. The oil spot is a couple inches in diameter every time. Any ideas would be ...

Re: ICM testing
wow, thanks for your detailed reply. You are correct. I believe the write-up for the procedure of testing the COILS, not the ICM, is in the 2000-05 forum. Strangely, after testing the coils and putting everything back together it was missing much more noticeably so I replaced the oddball coil with a ...

Re: Chugging up hills/Flashing SES light
Thanks everyone. Ok so I got the codes. My car has done this since I got it over a year ago. Btw, uim gasket went out shortly after I bought it. Not sure if that could cause permanent damage. Anyways, here's what I found:

ICM testing
I recently checked the resistence of my ICM as described in the tech info forum. I found one of the secondary windings to read 9.23ohm while the other two were around 6.3ohm. Does this mean I need to replace the oddball. I also noticed that it has already been replaced once as its appearance is ...

Chugging up hills/Flashing SES light
My car has been chugging up hills and had poor throttle response in general. When I give it more throttle to compensate for the chugging my service engine light starts flashing. Replaced plugs and wires but no help. It seems to be very gradually getting worse. Any thoughts?
