Re: Fog Lights?
In my line of work LEDs are the next big thing. They put out a ton if light with very small amount of power use. I just haven't heard much about LED head lights.

Re: Fog Lights?
Thanks for the pics . I will just have to see how bad mine turn out and then decide if I want to spend the extra dough to get the rest of the kit.

Re: Fog Lights?
DDM checked the specs on the car and said it will not exceed and recommended the 55w. What will I have glare on? Fog lights are aimed pretty low so I don't think glare off of road signs will b a problem. I'm an electrician and I install a lot of outdoor HID lights but this is a first for auto HIDs ...

Re: Fog Lights?
I just noticed no one else has went with the 55w fog lights, but that is what ddm suggested. Looks like I will be the test dummy. I hope it wasn't just a sales pitch because it cost 25$ more.

Re: Fog Lights?
I just purchased the HID's from DDM Tuning. The fogs were 55$ that included the 55w h3 5000k with harness and low beams 30$ 9006 35w 5000k. I hope they are an easy install cuz time is not something u have much of these days and I'm tired of replacing fog lights. Thanks for the helpful info.

Re: Occasional burning smell(like oil on headers)
Is there no way to disconnect the wire harness to get it out of the way?
Are you also saying I need another gasket called the water pump drive seal?
I thought I read somewhere I need a special tool to remove the pulley belt.
This sounds like it is going to be quite a job. Good thing I'm on ...

Re: Occasional burning smell(like oil on headers)
I have the same oil leak issue and was quoted $485 by local shop. I've decided to tackle this one on my own. I just purchased the fel-pro $83.00 but the Victor were a few bucks more. Does this mean better quality for the Victors? Also read 10ft lbs w/locktite, any other helpful hints would be great.

Re: North star supercharger
Thanks guys, it looks like I will just do the cold air intake and then try to work out the little bugs in the car. I'm sure I can get get some useful input from this forum on things like irratic gas gauge and valve cover gasket replacement.

Re: Fog Lights?
The first time I change the fog lights took me forever to figure it out. I decided to take off the inner wheel well now I can change them in about 15 minutes but it still sucks to do one-handed though. LOL not that I only have one hand but it is so far back inside the bumper I can only stick one arm ...

Re: Love Hate Relationship
I hope that does not happen but I can see why they discontinued this car. I guess they could not get all the bugs worked out. We recently sold my wife's 2005 Mazda 6 with 135000 miles on it. We purchased it new and the only time it was ever in the shop was for standard maintenance. Sucks when you ...
