Re: (88 L67 swap questions). Added alt question
I have to change some of the info. Pin F/I of the alt was wired into the splice, I have pin L going to the comp and the computers charge light sognal into the dash. Does that make more sense lol?

Re: 5v reference wire for sensors? (88 L67 swap)
Another question, this time about the alternator wiring. Where should the wires from the alt end up going? Stock on the 88 had pin L of the alt wired into a splice that went to the ERG power, A/C cutout relay, then those three join and go through the C265 connector and went into fuse 5 of the relay ...

(88 L67 swap questions). Added alt question
Why does the 5v reference signal go into the firewall passthrough on my 98 harness? What is it signaling inside the car? My computer pinout only say to connect it to the tps, map, egr on one pin and then the ac pressure sensor on another pin. Do I even need the 5v intot the cabin?

Re: changing valve springs without pulling a head
I shoved some like 4 gauge power wire in and rotated up to hold the valves up. like the old rope trick without all the little frayed bits left in the cylinder.

Super late check in but i'll be there with the truck and the bonne on the trailer. Should be mostly complete by the time I get there so we can get it fired up before the meet.

Re: Rear Door Speakers
Honestly they will make no difference at all for your sound especially if your others are upgraded already. However the easiest way to make them work would be an external amp, not sire if you can wire into an SE stereo.

IC tank for the 88
After looking around a bit I can find some pretty nice intercooler tanks for other aplications that I think would both fit well with a little modding and work well I hope. Is there anything special I should look for as far as where the ports sit so that it could self bleed? Also some have a "race ...

Re: About dang time!!!
I feel I should note that tires with a bunch of sidewall flex will require more steering input also, just switching from my Sumitomo summer tires to my dunlop wintermaxx tires make the car go from cornering on rails (kinda) to just leaning through the corner lol.

the park Ave isn't an H body so it has a different frame than the 2000+ anyway.

Re: Intercooler (Update 6/24 Running & Dyno'd)
Hmmm interesting... I know KR is a huge killer of power so im sure thats part of it and i'm sure completely different dyno's is a factor too. I do remember at the meet though before you had your build complete and tuned that your car pulled on mine but not that much IMO. Also greg has said it felt ...
