Re: P0108 and P0121
Yesterday I had cleared the codes out before I left work. I drove about 40 or so miles home with no mil. This morning about a mile down the road it came on. I drove about 1 mile or so to the school to drop off my kids, turned it off and checked codes. PO108. So, is it reasonable to assume that the ...

Re: P0108 and P0121
Over the weekend I had some time to mess with this thing. First, I found a vacuum tee with a big split in it. I replaced it hoping my problem would be gone. About 40 miles later there is the mil again. Same 2 codes 0122 and 0108. So I pulled the TPS took it to the bench, applied 5 volts to it and ...

P0108 and P0121
Hi All, My 97 SSE is throwing out these 2 codes. P0121 TPS and P0108 MAP. On one occasion the idle went high by itself and would not return to normal until I shut the engine down. Started back up and it was fine. There does seem to be some intermittant hesitation from idle too. Other than that my ...

Re: ELC AIR COMPRESSOR
The ELC was not working at all. I haven't heard it in a couple of months. I was able to remove it. I took it too the bench and diss assembled it completely. It was completely locked up and the + brush on the motor burnt up. I am sure there is no way of getting parts for it??? The piston seal is bad ...

ELC AIR COMPRESSOR
I have read a lot of posts about this but have not found what I am looking for yet. My in -trunk air compressor is not working anymore. I thought I remembered reading a post a while back about removing the unit, diss-assembling it, cleaning it and re-oiling. I am not exactly sure where the thing is ...

Re: I've got the shakes and can't get rid of them
I'm going with one (or more) of your tires has an issue. I put 4 new Dunlops on my 97 just after I bought it and had the same problem. I kept taking it back for re balance, alignment, inspection etc. After about a year of dealing with it I took it to the same place to get a free rotation and they ...

Fuel gage off!
Well, for about a week now my baby quits running at 1/4 tank. When I go to fill it up it takes about 5 gallons less than before so I know the tank is not going all the way empty. I changed the fuel pump over a year ago and this has just started. I was pretty perplexed when I got between 3/8 and 1/4 ...
