Have same noise. Did you ever determine the problem?

Replaced rear shocks with Delco and noticed they were slightly larger in diameter. Verified correct.....apparently new design. Now have a clunk in rear. Noticed when weight in back the shocks pump up properly and noise goes away. So compressor is working wondering if leveling arm or sensor. Any help ...
