The harness lengths are different, but the actual wiring is the same. Just extend the wires.

If you're looking for an upgrade option, just get a GXP radiator with thick core and have your SSEi plastic endcaps transferred onto the GXP radiator. Any radiator shop can do this.

The rotten egg smell is just unburned fuel from the misfire running through the cat. The misfire might even self clear after the car is driven for a while if its been parked that long. Clear out all the codes and drive it for a while and see what comes back.

Any experienced shop should be able to do a CV axle in an hour or less. There are cheap $50-60 axles available, but they are mostly junk that you shouldn't expect to last more than a year. If you plan on keeping the car, get an OEM AC Delco for around $200.

No, C1214 is a bad EBCM and a C1248 is a tag-along code.

You re-engineered the cooling system and didn't provide any links to what you did. I'm not even sure how to begin to help you. Post some pictures or more information.

The forum isn't nearly as active as the Facebook group. However, there is a lot of misinformation there as well. I don't have a 4t60 to play with, but I do have some 4t65 chains if you want them. However I doubt the chains are your issue. While they do wear, I've never seen a chain stretch to the po...

Yes it is the vent. If your Optima is a gel battery then don't worry about the vent tubes. OE battery is a 79 series battery.

Unfortunately that information simply isn't true. I have bought numerous 04-05 Bonnevilles with blown head gaskets.

Welcome!

Unfortunately the 2005 still blow the head gaskets just as commonly as previous Northstars. The only way to bullet-proof them is to install the Northstar Performance Sure-Grip Head Stud Kit.

The GXP brakes will work great on your SSEi, but you need everything: rotors, pads, calipers, caliper brackets, bracket bolts and lines. I suggest new/rebuilt calipers, but if you need the other stuff I have used parts available.

Yes, I would disassemble a HVAC box to get the blend door out. It would be a significant amount of work to do in your car, but its the best option. Email me.

That is just the wheel speed sensor wiring for the LF hub. I'm not sure where you are saying its broken, but colors and/or orientation won't matter. It can go either way. That is why your ABS/TRAC lights are on.

I simply apply 12v to orange wires and ground to black at the main connector. Why make it more difficult?
