Master PASS key is the black key, the valet key is gray. You can't use a valet key for programming.
That picture is about 15 years old from a car I had long ago.
Headers will be on ebay or ZZP. |

Here are the instructions from the service manual: 1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF, using a master Pass-Key® III key (black). 2. Observe the security telltale. After approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn off. 3. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds. 4. Repeat step 1-3 two... |

If you do a 30 minute security relearn it will work.
As long as you have the standard supporting mods and you're certain it isn't a crazy tune, it should benefit you. |

You will have to tap into an additional ignition source to power the radio. The OEM radio powers up from a Class2 data signal.

You can replace the backlight bulbs in the switches/panels but they are most likely soldered in. If you aren't up for it, ship them to me and I can do that. |

Those cheap aftermarket will be much worse off in little time. If your original is just weeping, I'd leave it. I'd only replace it if its leaking bad enough to leave a puddle. |

If there is an issue with the security system it will not let the engine crank at all. You'll need a proper scan tool to determine the issue with the security system. |

Dropping the subframe is definitely easier, although it can be done both ways. If you drop the subframe, the steering rack and all the brake lines stay in place. The only disconnection would be the rear brake lines. If you depress the brake pedal before disconnecting, they won't continue to lose flu... |

It would still give out codes even if it had a C1214 (internal relay failed). If he was unable to communicate with the EBCM, you need to check power and grounds first to make sure the module is able to power up. Used ones are plug and play, only new ones (no longer available) would need to be progra... |

Whoever "checked" the wheel speed sensors would have been able to tell you what chassis codes there are. C1214 is a bad EBCM, it is pretty common. You simply replace the EBCM, bolt on computer module. It's all a big guessing game until you know the actual code(s). |
