Keep twisting the oil cap open and it will twist the neck so you can remove them as a single piece. |

The codes will store as history codes and will identify which wheel has the fault. |

The key and fob are 2 completely different systems and have nothing to do with each other.
I've used the cheap aftermarket fobs for years, never had a problem. I'd just try another one. Are you using quality batteries or cheap Chinese ones? |

The 2000+ era have virtually zero issues with grounds, even with all the water leak issues they are prone to. It is much more likely to be a problem with the stepper motors in the cluster. |

I've recovered many non-sunroof headliners and never glued the cardboard back up. I think it aids in the assembly process but isn't necessary. There are plenty of other points holding it up. |

You either have to pull the engine or the transmission to gain access to the flex plate. |

The effect of corroded battery terminals or cables is responsible for excessive voltage drop, not parasitic current drain. You might be fixing A problem, but you're not fixing THE problem. |

I think you watched the wrong video #-o How To Perform a Parasitic Draw Test - EricTheCarGuy - it shows you how to hook up your multimeter and individually pull fuses to watch the current draw. You said your fuses have "been checked", but you're not looking for a bad fuse, you're looking f... |

It will not damage it or short it out. The clicking noise is normal and it means that the relay is being commanded on and is functioning as it should. But you should be looking at fuses not relays. All relays get their power from fuses first. |

If the current remained the same after pulling fuses, then you simply didn't pull all the fuses. There are fuse boxes under the dash on the drivers side AND passenger side, along with the big ones under the hood on the firewall. |

I would really think it should be able to do the injector leak-down test, but if it doesn't you can just do the DIY way. Put your fuel pressure gauge on there and give each injector your own version of an injector pulse (9v battery works good) and just watch the gauge to see if any of them are diffe... |

I've done a LOT of compression tests on 3800's. The average that I see on a healthy engine is 150psi. Do you have really low mileage or something? And you're saying cylinder 2 isn't down at all compared to the rest? Not even a 10% loss? If you're suspect of injectors and you have a snap-on scanner, ... |

I use the 252-692 water pump on any project or customer car that comes though my shop. I don't see any disadvantage, there is no weight difference from OEM (2lbs 5.5oz vs 2lbs 8.5oz) and its not costly. I buy them for $25-30. I don't see a lot of impeller failures, mostly bearings and seals on the O... |
