Hey look, Vince is back! That was my first thought too.
I've been around.. Only come around when I have problems haha. (Somewhat serious ;)) Unfortunately, mostly for the GXP too. :/
Jalopnik also had this to share about my lovely E38. Had A LOT of fun with this piece.

Re: Red oil on transaxle....
Thinking about it more and more- it may have been possible that because I drove with the mount broken for so long that it wore out the back mount also. When I got the front mount replaced last year, the back one did NOT get replaced- So the front mount that just came off my car may still be good and ...

Re: Red oil on transaxle....
I also have the front and back mount in my garage. I may cut open the front mount to see if there is damage/stress indicators inside. It wasn't torn at all.

Re: Red oil on transaxle....
I am now just updating for others that may be in my spot and will benefit from my situation and what I did:
Both front and back mounts replaced. $626 the front had some what of an warranty on it (they charged me 273 for the fronts). It does clunk a little bit still but only over bumps (and not from ...

Re: Red oil on transaxle....
To add to the issues that I am having already- My Coolant temp gauge is also acting up. Instead of pulling and putting in a new cluster panel I was wondering if any of you solved this issue via OBD II gauges? I was looking a scantool http://www.scangauge.com/products/scangaugeii/ But interested in ...

Re: Red oil on transaxle....
Another update... Went to the shop checked out where everything is leaking. Everything is leaking it seems..
He quoted like 7 hours for the oil pan gasket... Does it really take that long to do an oil pan gasket.. Sounds ridiculous to me.
I'll tighten that first before I change it see if that ...

Re: Red oil on transaxle....
Hey Crash! The A/C quit working... it blows just not cold air. Would this have anything to do with the oil? I took a picture last night didn't come out to good, so I will take another right now.

Red oil on transaxle....
Hey all, I have an issue with the GXP and I do not know what it is. The car drives fine, no A/C though and is leaking reddish oil onto the transaxle (I can see it from the drivers side of the car) and onto the ground. I do not know where it is coming from though- can you guys give me a clue on what ...

Re: TDM /VATS Bypass
So in my case I jumped the wires correctly with the right resistor and it doesn't start- just flashes security. I will be bypassing the whole system this weekend because I need that car to drive to work, although driving the GXP and hour a day hasn't been horrible. The GXP is about to pass 60k ...

Re: TDM /VATS Bypass
Thanks for all the help.. mine comes out to .887 So I soldered a series together to get .888 and it didn't work. But, I had a 1/4w and a 1/2w in series so maybe that could be the issue? It was just flashing Security. One of my buddies who is a electronics guru is putting together a series for me ...

Re: TDM /VATS Bypass
Couple of questions to add- what size resistor? And am I basically jumping 11 to 12 using the resistor?
