4T60-E valve body space plate for solenoid replacement?

Hi guys, long time no see!

I am looking to get the solenoids replaced in my '92 SSEi's transmission. I have enlisted a local automatic transmission specialist who removed the valve cover and have told me to obtain a valve body spacer plate with gasket. I have found the gasket, but am having real ...

Re: Why Does The Press Hate on GM?

I think things are changing now and the press are giving GM praise where its due now. Cadillac keep winning awards and group tests these days. Motor Trend had some nice things to say about the Chevy SS recently too.

Re: 02 Jag X-type

Is it AWD? I think they all were then, but I could be wrong.

The X-Type got a lot of stick from Jaguar purists for not being a 'proper' Jag as it was built on the Ford Mondeo platform and used a lot of Ford parts, but they're a nice driving car and are great value for money nowadays. Of course ...

Re: Retromobile Paris, Feb 5th 2016

Thanks folks!

That Bizzarrini is pretty cool. But what's with the manufacturers of 3-wheeled cars? Haven't they ever seen Mr. Bean?

That Pininfarina three-wheeler is the largest three-wheeler I've even seen - a proper family sized car - and the only three-wheeler I've ever seen with four doors ...

Annual service yesterday. A minor one this time, just oil & filter change and air filter.

Re: Is It Just Another Old Car or?

It's a classic in my eyes.

Only a matter of time before it receives wider recognition. Ok, that may be some time, but it will eventually. The '87s are knocking on 30 years old and the '92s are nearly 25.

Which LIM gasket?

Hi guys, just a quick question I wanted to throw out there....

I'm shopping for replacement LIM gaskets online. Would you stick with an OEM AC Delco part or should I buy an aftermarket replacement made by Victor Reinz (never heard of them!) at nearly a third of the price? Would you say the ...
