Anybody know the correct size of the overflow hose on a 2004 Bonneville with 3.8? I'm getting lots of different answers.

I've had this annoying ticking sound inside the dash of my '04 Bonneville. It's nothing consistant in intensity or loudness or even if the fan is on or off. Driving me crazy that I can't find it!! lol any ideas??
