Re: 2000 - Spitting P0300 codes
From what I have gathered so far is what seems to be the point of failure is the Ignition Control Module.
I assume if the ICM is good I will get good spark from all 6 outputs from the coil packs.
Help !

Re: 2000 - Spitting P0300 codes
Shouldn't the tach be bouncing when I crank it even though it won't start ?
The tach is not bouncing at all while it's being cranked over.
In Volvos this was an indication the Crank Position Sensor went bad.
Is this true with these Bonnevilles also ?

Re: 2000 - Spitting P0300 codes
I tightened down on the 3 grounding bolts in the engine compartment fuse panel. No change.

Re: 2000 - Spitting P0300 codes
Also, I watched a YT video concerning a very rough running engine with multiple non cylinder related misfires. The guy says to tighten down on the 4 bolts that hold the fuse panel on the passenger side of the engine compartment. I'm going to do that next at least to eliminate the possibility of a ...

Have you tried tightening down on the three bolts that hold the passenger side fuse panel in the engine compartment ? I'm doing that next.

We had a few consecutive days of very heavy downpours.
I took the car to get inspected it ran perfect on the way over like it always has.

2000 - Spitting P0300 codes
Hey you guys, this 2000 SE is spitting out these P0300 Multiple Engine Misfires codes, the car is running like crap and it won't move under it's own power.
New coil packs and wires less than 2k miles ago. It ran great ! Now all of a sudden it went belly up and runs like older cars did when the ...

They're called tamper-proof torx bits. I bought a set to have on hand when I picked up the new sensor at O'Reilly's.

Re: HELP ! 2001 - Flooding the engine
Hey so in the '01 I replaced the MAF Sensor with a new one and it's running like a champ now.
I watched aYou Tube video on how to clean the sensor using MAF Sensor cleaner.
so now I'll clean the sensor on the '02 and slap it back in to see if it corrects it or not.
I have a scanner but it's a ...

Re: HELP ! 2001 - Flooding the engine
I do have a question about removal.
There are torx head screws hold the sensor in, but there is a center stem on the screws. A normal torx head won't fit.
There must be a special tool to use or do you have a work around to get the screws out ?
Thanks,
Rich

I was going in that direction too.
I'll swap them like you said and see what happens then I'll post the results.
Thanks for this.

Re: HELP ! 2001 - Flooding the engine
So what I've found is a P0102 related to the MAF Sensor. Are these codes accurate ?
If so, a new one is no hassle.
I have an 01 & a 02. The 2001 is spitting the 0102 code.
Thanks. -Rich

Re: 02 Bonneville SE Sunroof/Headliner Question
I've deduced the sunroof is aftermarket. The controller is not integrated into the overhead accessory panel.
I can see where the headboard has been butchered to make room, and the controller is a small 4 function switch.
So what I want to do is track down a full length headboard and install it ...

02 Bonneville SE Sunroof/Headliner Question
I'm trying to have the headliner replaced in this SE.
