Re: How reliable is SonicElectronix.Com??
I have bought off them before, they are pretty good and have good products, however, if you do have any issues with warranty they are horrible and want to make it as difficult as possible for you.

What mufflers are you looking to put onto the car? This is where the noticable difference in HP and sound comes into play.

I was unaware of that, thank you repinS. Do you believe the TCC Solenoid TSB might be worth looking into a little bit more for his issue?

Re: Blower motor? Or resistor?
I was thinking that too but then I looked at this blower motor resistor (from work so the new one) and it looks like it has like a module or something more than a traditional resistor would have. I am still thinking its the resistor its self but I hate to make this poor lady spend alot of cash for ...

Blower motor? Or resistor?
Hey guys I am usually not so easily stumped on this one but I am turning to you all for some input here. 2004 Grand Prix GT model. A very good friend of mine came to Advance and asked me for some help with her car. She said that her heater stayed on even after the car was shut off and she opened her ...

I typed in the part number you came up with and it said something different it didnt come up as the retainer clip for the high mount brake light in the trunk lid. This is the part number that I came up with, 25665596 that was from gmpartsdirect.com

Alternator rebuild just in the nick of time
I have been driving my 00 SSEI now for about 3 1/2 to 4 months as my everyday driver and to my surprise, I pulled the back seat and seen an original AC Delco battery manufactured date was 11/99. I knew that with the traditional winter cold weather I see here in Ohio that I better get it changed ...

Re: Error code C1248 & C1262 + 2000 Bonneville SLE
I would shop ebay for it. I am buying mine from ebay because the one for the 00 SSEI new from GM is $885 in my wonderful part of Ohio. As far as the difficulty on finding one, as long as you have the correct brake options for the car you should be fine. From my understanding after talking to some ...

Re: maybe the bearing??
It very well could be the wheel bearing. As far as the lights all being on, I have the same problem with my 2000 SSEI model. I have a Snap-On Ethos scanner though that reads ABS codes and after I pulled mine I diagnosed the problem into my antilock brake module pump located on driver side engine ...

Yea that was my thoughts exactly, sliding the motor over enough to just change the PCS was an idea a good friend I work with came up with. He is a 15 year Master ASE mechanic that has a lift in his personal garage out his house and we started it last night when he got off work. He said since the ...

Re: P1811 Code and repair
yes it was the 1811 code thank you, i was half asleep when posting. It was actually alot easier removing the side mounts and the front mounts, i left the rear mount on, set engine and transmission both on 2 different floor jacks. After slowly lowering the motor side jack We was able to slide the ...

Try the following and reply back on here with your results:
1. Unplug the mass air flow sensor and see if the vehicle runs any different. I had a different make and model car at one point I was working on that was a 93 Ford Taurus 3.0 OHV engine that had a bad mass air flow sensor. It did the same ...

Re: Rear Wheel Bearings
Since I sell car parts for Advance Auto Parts and used to work on cars for 7 years professionally, I have only sold or installed maybe like 10 rear bearings for this cars. It is common for the front wheel bearings to fail due to driving conditions, the fact that the front tires are your drive and ...

I know mine on the 2000 SSEI when the oil sending unit went bad it just pegged out my gauge to max with no warning lights or no running issues. When I replaced it my gauge went back to normal pressure.
I only stated a possible bad oil pump because I have sold many believe it or not since working ...
