Ok, I ordered a new radiator from Rockauto .com, everything matches up EXCEPT the Tranny cooler lines, the openings on the new radiator are too *dang* small for the original lines to attach to. Do they make an adapter? My lines are in good shape, so i dont want to replace them, please advise. My ...

Ok, I got the compressor off finally, and a by-pass pulley put on. Now the belt is out of line on the water pump because of the by-pass pulley, it pulls the belt toward the engine side of the water pump pulley. Thanks for the information, have you replaced your plugs and wires if so, what have you found is the best plug? I used to have a 90 Lumina that I put a flowmaster and sounded like a mild v8 after, so I may do that too.

Ok, i checked the rubber on the Crank pulley, its fine. I pulled the belt off and started it and let it run for about 8 seconds to see if i could hear that noise. It still sounds like lifters but from the bottom/ back of the engine. I did notice though, as i decided to check ALL the pulleys while i ...

Yes, kinda, here are some vids i took tonight
. i think its that AC pulley, but i can also hear what sounds like a slight lifter rattle toward the bottom of the engine. Can that pulley be tightened? Or just replaced?

Hate to revive an old thread but did you all ever figure out the cause? I started hearing this tonight, it almost sounds like a lifter rattle, but coming from the bottom of the engine. Any guesses???, ill take a vid tomorrow. Mine has 124k on it, dont know if the timing chain has ever been replaced ...

Ok , my 91 has the coil pack that looks like 1 solid pack, the coils on the 88 looks like the newer 3 individual coil design. even though there in different places in the engine bay and the 88 is a diff engine can i put the 88s coil pack on the 91? or am i better with what ive got? ill take picks ...
