I'm dealing with same issue right now. Weird enough I just started doing some research on it today. I'm thinking it could be that shock absorber mount.

Take a look at these as well.... http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/ctd/4381027126.html They are a lot better made then the Bonneville GXP's. 99% of the issues of Northstars have been worked out. And my Dad has one, it's been the most reliable car in our fleet. Plus you get super nice creature ...

Re: Vacuum line sizes
I just had to replace a bunch of mine, they went down like flies when I was taking stuff apart. I just went to Auto Zone and matched them up as best as possible. For the thin plastic ones I got Hard Emission Tubing. For the bigger ones I got regular Vacuum/Windshield Washer Hose.

Goto discount tire company, they are able to call the manufacture and have them custom drilled. I just did that, takes like 2 weeks. I'm waiting for mine to come in now.

Re: Tires and Rims
Thanks! I'm interested in everyone's opinions. They are 18's. The rest is a surprise haha As for the dealership situation, I'm just glad it's done now. That place pissed me off so bad. I was commission based and they weren't even paying me that. Just excuse after excuse. On top of that I was porting ...

Re: Tires and Rims
Well I finally ordered a set of rims. Completely different than the ones that you see here. they don't even make them in our bolt pattern, so they have to be custom drilled at the factory. it will probably be a few weeks before I get them but they are ordered and official. Stay tuned! and no Ed I am ...

Well my tri-spokes have seen their better days. And my tires have turned into slicks. I'm upgrading to some new 19in rims. Now here's where I need your help. What size tires should I get for these? These are the ones I'm looking at... http://firstchoicewheelsandtires.com/?page=moreDetails ...

For some reason my 94 SSEi did that, and it went way after I cleaned the maf. Swear to God, maybe a coincidence but worth a shot. Even I thought it was weird.

We had a local shop put it in, but at that price for the unit. It really doesn't break ya to go professional haha
Yeah, lol. What was the total cost to do it?
I'll have to ask my Dad when he gets home from work, I can't recall exactly off the top of my head. Less than a $100 for install forsure ...

Re: Some love from Fox News
I was put in my place a few weeks ago. Driving my daughter and father in law to dinner in my 98 Bonnie, I was explaining to FIL that the city we were in is very rich, and we were in possible the oldest vehicle car we will see in the city, when I pulled up to the restaurant and parked next to ...

Did you know...
If you lock the ebrake, the system thinks a WSS is gone, kicks the ABS light on and kills ABS, at least until you shut the car off and restart. Just do it in a safe area, and you are fine for the rest of the trip.
Make sure your tires are up to the challenge too. The brakes are ...

Just keep post some links for craigslist ads. Not to toot my own horn but I'm pretty good at weeding off the bad ones right away. I've only bought 5 Bonnevilles in my day haha. And I know some of the other members here are the same.

Re: Best remote start you can buy?
We have this on the Tahoe and the Camaro. And let me tell you, it's probably one of the best and seamless I've ever used. Two way remote, security and remote start, and it'll work from the back of a department store to the back of the parking lot. I believe it's made by Viper just their off or ...

Re: Climate Control Issue
Something tells me it's not the actuator, what are the chance that the actuator broke and the thing that changes the levels broke at the same time? In all fairness it never worked right since I bought her. I have to look, I might have a 92-95 one laying around in my garage somewhere from when I ...
