Re: KR elimination

1st thing you do is get out the resistor that makes your car think it's always 42 out.
#1 it's a hack
#2 it's useless
#3 even honda owners will laugh at you...

edit: nm i saw you took it out. good job!

Re: Top Speed

My HUD is within 1mph of my GPS over 140. ;)

Yes, aero drag plays a huge factor the faster you go. Weight of the car and hp/tq/gearing mean less and less the faster you go, and it's a logarithmic function.

i thought GPSs were notorious for being off for mph?
i know for a fact you can't used them ...

Re: Top Speed

fwiw:

most 'normal' car's speedos become HIGHLY inaccurate when measuring speeds above 100mph.

your gearing is what limits your top speed #1
+
how well air 'flows around' your car aka your coefficient of drag #2

not HP/TQ for the most part. it's much smaller factor.

"A kindergardner who can draw inside the lines could port an IM" -annon

port matching is more important then porting fwiw least imo from my experience and everything i've read...

any write up you see without that is just inviting more turbulence into your intake manifold then is already there. I ...

Re: 1996 ssei pcm relocation upadated and relocated

that isn't a cai...
it's a wai(warm air intake)...just correcting you before someone else does...not trying to be rude.
though it's close if not equal to being the best bang for your buck in terms of air intakes.

in car enthusiast terms a cai gets air outside of the engine bay aka where you can ...

Re: Is there anything on an LN3 thats worth porting?

anything that improves the induction or removal of air will increase you mpg/hp, aka anything that helps it 'breath' easier. and engine is basically just an air pump in simple terms. however the money and time spent will not be worth the slight increase in mpg/hp imo...

you would be better of ...
