Im not sure how much you have to spend and why you even want to keep the cassette player? But you can get a decent CD player upgrade from Wal Mart for around 90 bucks. I bought mine from Crutchfield.com but Wal Mart has less expensive ones if your on a budget.

I think you should check Craigslist and get a HU and a amp for a good price. If you only want new gear, I would look at Pioneer HUs.
