I tried taking those 4 nuts on the inside off plus the other one hiding in there deeper but the the whole light unit wouldnt budge. Is that the way its supposed to come off though? I didnt want to screw something up so i put them back on. Either i wasnt doing something right or that piece has just ...

How do you change out tail light in trunk lid?
How do you get to the tail lights in the trunk lid ive got one out on the left side. Do you actually have to take the assembly off because i reached back there and couldnt get to the bulb?

I'm having the same problem with my 98, when i took out the old switch i could tell that the back of it had melted and probably burnt up. When I put a new switch in it worked for maybe 10 mins then smoke started coming out from behind it and that one burnt up too. So my guess is that I have a short ...

Well, I replaced the headlight switch a everything started working perfectly until smoke started coming out from behind the dash and my headlight switch burnt out...

Yeah the ECC and Radio display dont come on because of the headlight switch, i recently replaced the headlight switch and everything started working right but then after about 10 min smoke started coming from behind the dash and i had burnt the switch. Not sure what to do about that, but i guess ...

My ECC simply does not work right. For one, the display randomly shows up from time to time along with the radio display. All of the controls still work and the fan blows out air but the temp of the air is not contolled at all. It seems like their must be a damper or something that is not opening to ...

Unfortunately no, it has the cd player which is a real bummer because ive got a cassete adapter layin around that worked great in my old car

Aux input for a stock 98 stereo?
Id like to install a auxilary jack to the front of my stereo so i can listen to my ipod but besides the 3.5mm input is there anything else special as far as wires or adapters to make it work because it is just the stock cd player. Does anyone have any insight as to what i need?

Right now the Bonnie has got 75,000 miles on it and the plugs and wires are probably stock. as far as what kind to put in i really have no clue ive just been doin some research and checkin what would be best. Any suggestions on what to get? and does changing the plugs and wires affect anything else ...

Im thinking about changing out the spark plugs and wires on my 98 SE, will there be any real change in throttle response and MPG and would it be worth it?

I finally found a headlight switch, does anyone have any tips on how to tackle changing it out? I havent really tried taking anything off yet but it looks like just one piece up above the cluster held in by 3 screws i know it cant be that easy though.

I have a 98 bonnie and I'm having the same problem. The clusters dont light up and neither does anything else that should. Everything still works though. My only guess is the headlight switch and i plan to get one sometime next week.

I am having almost the same exact problem with my dashlights, my taillights are fine though. Do the radio controls on the steering wheel or the radio buttons light up? None of it lights up on mine. Wouldn't you know, I bought the car when it was light out and never thought to check any of that crap ...

yep there are a few salvage yards nearby I'll have to take a look for another switch. I have a pretty good feeling that my switch has gone bad.
