I no longer am an owner of the Bonneville. I wound up getting a 2011 Corvette Grand Sport and used the Bonneville as my down payment. I also wound up getting a 2006 Grand Prix GXP as my second car now.
But I just wanted to thank all of you for all the good & insightful reading that I was able to ...

Re: So Service Engine Light came on the other night...
Yeah I am actually still covered under buyer protection via ebay. And I must say the Salesman is wroking with me to try to get to a common ground. He's still polite and we have maintained respectful discussions. He's trying to get his managers to pay for it all. But he said he can def get gm to ...

Re: So Service Engine Light came on the other night...
How many miles are on the car? Sounds like they're going to "Goodwill warranty" some of it thorugh GM. But what are the laws in your state? Any dealer that sells a car usually has at least a 30 day warranty on all cars sold (or something like that). That should cover anything that does go wrong. If ...

They should have a dealer warranty on the car. At least 30 days or something. Not a dime should come out of your pocket. Especially if it's CPO![/quote]
That's really how I feel. But they are saying all sales are final. And that GM might pay half of the bill. I will take whatever I can get from ...

Re: So Service Engine Light came on the other night...
No problem. Many people (IE Pep Boys) automatically throw the A.I.R. pump in and tell you that that's the cause because that is a big dollar item vs. an HO2S. :) Or they simply don't know.
But a driving issue with poor economy is something related to an online function (I.E. O2's, MAF, MAP, TPS ...

Re: So Service Engine Light came on the other night...
It's actually not to overly difficult to replace. It's on the lower front driver's side corner. Depending on your arm size/flexibility, you might be able to get it from above, once you remove the airbox. But it will be easier to get the front of the car in the air, remove the lower air dam/splash ...

And I noticed that the gas mileage was severley altered. Had more than 3/4 tank and all of a sudden it read 127 miles til empty. Brought her to Pep boys to have them run a full diagnostic test on it. All codes came back to O2 sensor. Upon further inspection, it seems the Secondary Air pump is INOP ...

Re: Fog Lights?
Actually, I re-read your post Joey and 00Beast didn't add this point, so I will.
Even if you disable your DRL's, it won't disable your twilight sentinel feature (I.E. the auto headlights). So if you're driving around at dusk, or cloudy, etc, and want only your fogs on, you need to turn your light ...

Re: Fog Lights?
Hi. My name is Joey. I just purchased a '04 Bonneville GXP. Love it so far. I'm hoping that you all might be able to help me out with some links to the following:
Is there a way to disable the DRL and drive with the Fog Lights on only?
I appreciate it.
