You posting pictures of your cruze makes me want to post pictures of my new Focus! They are both great cars, and I was leaning heavily toward a cruze until I started selling Fords lol

Re: Spolier
If I'm not mistaken, someone (possibly on the old club) did raise their spoiler with spacers. I wish I could remember who it was or if it was even a bonneville, but I do remember that it looked pretty bad.

What those knuckleheads said is 100% true. I have the same set up as Ed and have done several cars with awesome results after spending around 250 for my setup.

Which is sooooo unfortunate, I actually like those wheels WAY better than the stock ones from a GT. Maybe when I get mine someday Ill trade with someone who has a V6 and we'll both be happy.

Didn't even think about that, there is a tech school with a body shop I took classes at when I was in high school, I'll check into that.
Thanks.

It is awesome watch these poor neglected cars get some of the attention they deserve. Hopefully the new buyer will be a little more appreciative. Harofreak's Bonneville Rescue Service!

I would really like to take classes that I have seen offered, or something of the like. I don't just want to buy a bunch of tools and start doing it. I was just wondering if anyone here does it or has taken any classes to get some tips of how to start.

Yeah it looks kind of stupid, but who cares, its just tape and he can take it off whenever he wants (as long as the after effects that bill warned about are avoided) without problem. Easy and simple way to change the look of a car he's had for what 11 years now. Better than a lot of other stuff I've ...

Re: 01 Aurora head gasket?
she drove to the lot where it died right before she parked. She rolled into the spot and bought the 08 Malibu 2lt we test drove day before.
$15500, 30,000 miles, loaded to the gills. She is very happy.

01 Aurora head gasket?
As of this monday my moms car has been running really rough. She has a horrible track record of owning cars that fall apart and now her aurora seems to be doing the same thing.
I went to her work to have a look at the car, she thought something was wrong with the exhaust... unfortunately she was ...

Re: Cheaper to shop or sheaper to swap?
Yeah, there is no real point in just swapping the engine. You'd be taking (arguably) the worst part of the GXP and the (arguably) best part of the SLE and swapping...
A top swap to an l67 (the supercharged motor from the SSEi) would be MUCH cheaper and accomplish some of the same goals.
