I was going to suggest the maf also. Try unplugging it and starting. Also pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator and see if there's a strong smell of gas in the line.

Yes, I replaced the fuel filter at the same time w/ the new fuel pump. I'm going to get a fuel pressure gauge and see what's going on.
