On the 04 Bonneville SE im getting the popping sound when turning, ive read its due to a bad intermediate steering shaft. Is this a dangerous problem ? Ive read it can be removed and greased or just replaced ?

Im thinking about buying this 99 ssei. It has 216k miles. Engine and trans runs good. It needs brake work and the blower motor isnt working. Is that too much for this car ? Is it worth putting money into it if it needs a major repair ?

I sprayed all around the injectors, intake, vac hoses, pvc, and didn't make any difference. I guess its time to pull the egr tube.. :(

Did you use Delco plug wires ? These engine do not like aftermarket plug wires. Im fighting a mis fire issue with mine as well. Ive figure out its the MAF connector was bad and the front o2 sensor causing a rough idle on mine.

well.. figured out the fuse for the MAF was blown, replaced the fuse and got 12 volts to it now. Im a little concerned about the output readings im getting. Im gonna check on that some more.
