About 4 Years

Well, I've been away from here for almost 4 years. I'm just now about ready to restore my 01 Ssei (Orig Owner). It's been in the driveway under a blanket for about 3 years. Needs a lot of TLC. I've had it on non-op because it needed work and my CEL is constantly on (I know what it is though). Really ...

Re: Club Chapters

I've been trying to move but it more of a wife and job thing at this point. I don't get back that way nearly enough, and I miss the Pizza. The last time I was there to enjoy myself was in 2008. I would also have a hard time Picking between Park Ridge, Oak Park, etc.. and the U.P. (I really like the ...

What About These?

I had put this in another post but I think it just got overlooked.

I used to have the window decal for the "BonnevilleClub.com" is there one for "PontiacBonnevilleClub.com"? Also had some "BonnevilleClub.com" cards to put on cars at times, are any of these available?

Re: Club Chapters

Coming up is the Michigan meet and 3800 meet in ~2 weeks, and then Woodward in Detroit in August. Both will have a bunch of members attending each event.

Yeah! This was the reason for my question. I assume there are others from California on here, but with a lot less activity. I've seen a lot go ...

Club Chapters

Has anyone wanted to start a club chapter that would maybe meet once a month, and hold regional annual meets. I belong to other online clubs but most are California based and have monthly meets anyway. However I would really like to start up a local chapter, for people in SoCal (LA to Mexico boarder ...

Re: A work in progress

Maybe someone will design some chrome or braided stainless tubes to replace the crappy looking ones on top of the SC. But I won't hold my breath. :sadeyz:

Re: A work in progress

Buys fancy valve covers and then covers them with a stock piece of plastic?!?!?! :ballkick:

:joke:

I really like the stock plastic look, but I also like the valve cover look but I hate all of the wires and the tubes that go all over the place on the top of the SC. Had to make a call. The ...

Re: A work in progress

Quick question. Is the actuator (air mix) door on the A/C the same part for both sides? Without testing I'm just going to buy both and replace on the drivers side. This is where it is always hot. A/C works on the Passenger side but always blows hot on the Drivers side.

That's why I'm looking at the low profile inter-cooler.

Re: Air Intake

The L67 doesn't really care for cold air, so you're literally fine with anything. Whatever you put on will likely have to be removed for inspection every time.

Wow, Really everything I've read says that I should be running cold air intake. To tell you the truth, I really didn't notice much when I ...

Air Intake

A Couple of years ago I had to remove my in fender air intake that I got from Intense about 11 years ago. California smog station said it had to go. So now I am looking for something that is California legal, but gives good Cool Air abilities. Any suggestions?

Re: Does the CD changer require.....

I don't think I ever posted a write-up on doing this and I don't know of anyone else that has either.

There was a member several years ago that asked me to build a wiring harness for him so he could add the factory XM components. I completed it but he never paid me so I still have it sitting here ...

A work in progress

OK, so I've started the restoration of my 01 SSEi. I have some pictures somewhere as to how it looked the first few years that I had it. I will try to find those and post here. I will also take some pix tomorrow of what it looks like now, and how it will look after the restoration. I am going to ...

Re: Does the CD changer require.....

There wasn't a factory option for XM in 2001, but it's certainly possible to add it. You would require the correct head unit, S-Band receiver module, roof mount antenna and the wiring. With that head unit you've shown, you would require an aftermarket interface to add the XM you already have. I'm ...
