ISSUE FIXED!!! Thanks for all the advice, the final result was the rack and pinion was bad. Replaced it with another one and all is good.

I understand what you are saying, I guess what I'm getting at is it seems like when turning hard there's like a noise that sounds like axle shaft but that's new, then the light comes on and the steering wheel doesn't return if I let go it stays turned. It was doing it before the hub was changed. Could it be something in the rack.Does the new rack need some type of calibration?

I have a 2000 ssei I recently replaced the rack and pinion power steering pump outter tie rods and pass front hub assembly. Now I have a issue when turning right the low trac light comes on. I haven't got an alignment yet so was wondering if that may be the problem.

On my 2000 i have a problem with p/s.When it is cold it steers fine when it heats up it seems that it gets hard to steer at idle if i give it some gas it steers fine. Also when i take off the p/s cap it pops like it has pressure built up.

What power source did you use to test the lights.

I need the serial number for the number 1 key fob for a 2000 ssei. I have a number 2 fob but i dont know if the numbers are different between the two.I need to get another fob and dont want to get it wrong.

I got a 2000 ssei and it seems that up under the rear deck in the trunk there is a plastic panel missing in the middle, it looks like there is a panel on each of the sides and i'm not really sure what goes in between. is there a panel that goes in the middle between them?

This was one of the easiest removal and installs i've ever done. No need to remove balancer, and yes the one trans bolt is little bit of a bear but a little patience and persistance is key.
