Hmmm...no fitment issues here . The one you got appears to be the same as the new ones I got and my original (which I have for who knows what reason) . I wonder if there was some difference between NA cars and supercharged cars?

Once the car is on the ground it's actually about 1/2" at the closest possible point. I actually did think of that but there is no evidence of rubbing on that largest part of the boot.
