Spent the day detailing the ol' girl. Still cleans up nice for being 16 years old. Ready for the summer now.

Thanks!

Been kind of slow progress recently but here is a update! Installed my GXP parts I got off craigslist for $70 today. Feeling all kinds of fancy now. Still have to get my pedals installed. Any tips on the brake pedal? Had a little trouble today with it so decided to come ...

Re: I'm back in a Bonneville!

Little update to give. Spent friday night replacing my rear trailing arms. Pretty much took care of my vibration issues I was having. Also rolled over 215k. Going to detail the car here soon in anticipation for summer. Pics to follow.

Re: Rear trailing arm replacement

Thanks for the replies. Ended up getting this done last night. It was pretty straight forward but I found it easier to lower the subframe (2 rear bolts) to get a little more access to the bolts. Definitely need replaced lol

Rear trailing arm replacement

I'm needing to replace my rear trailing arms and looking for some advice. From what I've read I need to lower the subframe (Correct me if I'm wrong) to remove the bolt and clear the gas tank. Is there a write up for this or a PDF ? Never dropped any sort of subframe or cradle before.

Thanks, I appreciate it. The tan is growing on me the more I have it. Wasn't a fan at first but I couldn't turn down the deal.

Little update to give. Got the front struts replaced and the car cleaned up so I went for a long drive and snapped a few pics.

Re: My new to me 2004 CTS-V

Got a few things done this weekend. Replaced my differential bushing, installed a Lingenfelter air filter, and got the rear Eibach springs and mighty mouse spacers installed (Ran out of time for the front springs). Planning on installing my front springs and stainless brake lines next weekend ...

Re: I'm back in a Bonneville!

Thanks everyone. Even though its starting to rack the miles up it still runs good. I also have a realistic expectation of the vehicle especially with 200k and understand things are going to need replaced. Cheaper to maintain this one at the moment than to have a payment or start over with another ...
