Yeah it will. I've burned out two low beam bulbs prematurely in my Bonneville. Besides, I prefer to decide when to turn on my headlights. I don't need Big Brother deciding what's best for me ...

I just bought a 1998 Bonneville. Great car except the DRL's. I prefer to decide when to switch my headlight on and off and not depend on a GM software engineer's preferences.
