Help! knocking noise, when I crank my 03 Bonneville Se, then its like a ticking noise. A couple of folks listened, one said engine replacement off the back, the other said it could be rod bearings or lifter.

I am a single mother of 2 working from home. I have had a few cars in my life and I get really angry when people are taken advantage of when car repairs are needed.
